Expect to see many of the measures that were either vetoed by the Governor, or that failed passage in the Legislature in 2014, to re-surface as new proposals in 2015.
Other Wage Rate Increases for 2015
The City of San Jose’s minimum wage increases to $10.30 an hour effective January 1, 2015. The 2015 City and County of San Francisco’s minimum wage rate had not yet been announced as this ASAP went to production. The 2015 minimum rate of pay that would render computer software employees exempt under California Labor Code Section 515.5(a)(3) has also not been announced as of the date of this ASAP’s publication.
